Due to a recent (and somewhat unexpected) 550 purchase, I am selling my 599. I absolutely love this car and intended to keep it indefinitely, but unfortunately don't have room for both.

    Specs:
    2007 599 GTB
    24k miles
Grigio Titanio / Black daytonas with red stitching
Carbon fiber driving zone and lower cabin zone
    Carbon Ceramics
    Bose HiFi
    Front flip has PPF
    Original MSRP $328,341

    Highlights:
-Fabio's 6-1 headers, cats, secondary bypass pipes, and stock mufflers. The sound is incredible (youtube links below). For further info you can see my contributions to the 6-1 header thread in the 599 section.
    -original exhaust components included
-Forza Componenti remote bypass controller (allows for valves open, closed, or ECU control)
-New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires & alignment Oct 2021 (approx 500 miles on them)
-Extensive service history/receipts from Ferrari of Atlanta since new
    -Sticky interior parts refinished
    -All books, toolkit
-72.57% clutch life remaining (27.43% worn)

    Known imperfections:
-Minor rock chips and such on the paint. No major blemishes and nothing that is noticeable from more than a couple feet away. The expected amount of wear associated with the age and mileage.
-Dash leather is very slightly wrinkled in one spot near the speaker (pic below)
-Leather separating behind the rear parcel shelf below the window (pic below)
-Reverse button finish bubbled up (not sticky)
-Minor curb rash on right front wheel

The car has clearly been extremely well cared for since new. It has spent most of its life in GA and was regularly maintained by Ferrari of Atlanta. It runs, drives, and shifts very well. The overall condition is very good, with only the typical wear associated with age and mileage. This is not a showroom-condition concourse example, but what I would consider to be a very nice driver.
For me, the sound is an extremely important part of the Ferrari experience, and frankly I was not satisfied with that aspect of the car. Doing some research, I found that changing the rear mufflers (to Tubi, Capristo, etc.) resulted in an increase in volume, but doesn't really change the tone, which is more of a lower pitched blare than a high-pitched scream. The only way to get the high-pitched sound is Fabio's 6-1 headers. After listening to as many sound clips as I could find, testaments from other fchatters, and communicating with Fabio directly, I took the plunge on his headers, cats, and secondary cat bypasses. At over $10k, it's a pricy setup, but they truly are works of art and absolutely transform the car. With the stock mufflers and bypass valves intact, you can cruise along peacefully with no drone or noise at all (like stock). But with the valves open and your foot down, the sound is intoxicating. Because I purchased the catted version, all O2 sensors remain in their factory locations and there is no CEL.

    Asking $160k.

Looks like a beautiful car. Sadly out of my budget, but good luck with the sale. Did you happen to get the gray 550 with manual transmission that was on BaT?

Thanks! Yes I did. Honestly I wasn't interested in paying what I expected it to go for, and was very surprised when I won it. But I have always wanted a Grigio 550, so unfortunately I have to part with this one to make room.

Looks like a great car. I am local in Atlanta, GA for any F-chatter that needs a non bias third party inspection of the car; with sellers permission, of course. Im willing to take any additional videos/photos you may need. Good luck with sale! This one shouldn't last long

Gorgeous car. It's insane to think that this is now the MSRP of a 911 carrera with some options. And you can get a V12 Ferrari for that.

I know this car from new - Original Owner was an active FCA member here in Atlanta. I know the current owner as well and the car is spectacular with lots of maintenance from a fastidious owner.

It looks like you are 5 to 10 minutes from where I live. This is a stunning spec for this car. I have a Scud in Grigio Titanio so maybe biased. Someone needs to snap this up and save me from myself.

Wow, thanks everyone for the kind words! It is a wonderful car and I'd really like to see it go to a fellow Fchatter before I market it more broadly.

Come on over and take a look! I would love to see your scud. My incoming 550 is also Grigio Titanio so I am biased as well!

I believe it has the 7.1.1 being an earlier car. Serial number is 152777 which I believe is pre-cut over (156938 according to what I have read on Fchat, but not confirmed outside of this).

    Hello Chris,

I am interested in your 599 and wanted to send you a private message, but I can’t seem to figure out how or where to send one.

If not possible, I am happy to send my contact info.

    Thanks,
    Danny

    Hi Danny,

Fchat requires a certain number of posts before they will allow you access to the PM feature (they call it a "conversation"). You can email me directly at [email protected]

In the 2nd post 7th photo, is there leather shrinkage or de-lamination just above the rear deck area?

The leather has shrunk and delaminated from the panel. So the "mesh" semicircle panel is intact and attached as it is supposed to be, but the leather has pulled up from the panel that sits behind there.
Please let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'd be happy to take a quick video and send it to you.

I am certainly open to working something out with the potential buyer to compensate for this and any other issues (ie reverse button).
