Any recommendations on a auto transporter to move a car from east coast to west coast? Thx
I used Capitol Auto Transport a few years ago to take a car from Portland to Colorado Springs. They are a broker, so the actual shipper will be someone else, but they make all the arrangements. I did open transport because the car wasn't all that special, but I think they can arrange closed transport as well.
I've used bluestar four or five times: https://bluestarautomovers.com/ However, I believe these movers are just brokers. They get your order then shop it out to a driver. I believe all the drivers work for all the same brokers. So there's really not a big difference between brokers in my mind other than customer service.
When I purchased my car 2+ years ago from a dealer in Chicago, we used a broker to find shipping to my home in Tacoma. He told me all the right things and that an owner / operator would take better care and treat my car better than a large business. My car arrived damaged and I had to fight to get it repaired. This isn't the way I like to do business. I lost $1000 but loved the car so it is what it is. Broker will always go for the lowest priced transport company and nothing else matters. I learned my lesson the hard way and know now to only use a reputable company that I recognize. I hope you have a better outcome if you decide to use a broker..... Regards, GG
Thanks guys. I will give these a look. It seems most all the ones I have found so far are in the broker field. Luckily the seller is able to give me a little time to sort this out.

Hey Edward, I sent a request through the website on Friday. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow, I will call. Thanks
Jim is usually very responsive… pretty sure he will respond Monday. But like all businesses, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are short staffed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Update. Ended up using Capitol Auto Transport (Andy 305-467-2534) as Don had recommended. They were a little more then the other brokers, but were able to work with the seller for a convent pickup window and communicated well with me for a drop off. All the others seemed to have a window of three to five days.
So what did you get????? Inquiring minds want to know! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
