2008 F430 How do you reset the TPMS? The panel is showing a stability issue warning indicator and it appears that a sensor has failed

Most likely you need to replace the TPMS sensors on the rims. Batteries wear out. Had mine replaced on my 07, 2-3 years ago. I think the 08 has an auto recalibration system once you replace the sensors.

As Red 27 said. If it is a TPMS sensor on one of the wheels, replace all 4 at the same time. The 2008 model year has the auto calibration feature. After installing new sensors, just dive the car a block or two, the car will pickup the new signals automatically. Prior years had a button on the dash under the steering wheel.

Unplug the car battery and then reconnect it.

It is likely you need a sensor. I have a tool for checking TPMS sensors and it is the way to go when dealing with TPMS issues. Find a shop that has one and let them tell you what you need. My tool tells me the battery life as well. You may not need all four. It may be one has just quit working. It happens.

Autel makes such tpms tools. I've got the version with bells and whistles (can program sensor and can ALSO connect to the ODB). Quite usefull, and not overly expensive: ~€200. It seems to support the F430 (not tested but see screenshot).
