Raiders have a new GM and new head coach. That didn't take long. Raiders announce Josh McDaniels as next Head Coach https://www.raiders.com/news/raiders-hire-josh-mcdaniels-as-head-coach https://www.raiders.com/news/raiders-hire-dave-ziegler-as-general-manager
OK. But I'll stick to my assessment of Jimmy G. There's 32 teams all with collectively the same salary (quite frankly when I'm watching a game I don't think about who's making more or less money) as in the collective bargaining agreement. At the end of the year only one team can be called the winner. But even for that one team, the pressure starts up again the second the new season begins. Does Tampa Bay suck? No. Does Kansas City suck? No. Only Jacksonville, Detroit, NY Jets really suck. I'm not a Fairweather fan. How can I be when my team still doesn't even have a name! LOL!
I'm loooooong past caring about the Detroit Lions, but still found these two flippen hilarious Image Unavailable, Please Login These amb-boo-wance chasers advertise all over Michigan. Ugliest first family in law. Image Unavailable, Please Login
So after all those years of no team playing a Super Bowl in its home stadium, it now happens two years in a row! Weird.....
After two years this is the best they could come up with?!? Commanders. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/washington-nfl-name-reveal Why not Washington Bureaucrats, Washington Mid-level Managers, ... T
https://www.denverpost.com/2022/02/01/broncos-for-sale-record-price-expected/ Broncos are for sale. @PhilNotHill - hock the F-car, and get in on the ownership group! T
Well, 'Technically', the Rams are the visiting team in this game.... I thought the Washington Crooks sounded good, maybe the 'Thieves', possibly the 'Liars' would fit as well.
Would that assessment be that he is: 1) overpaid and under achieves 2) injury prone 3) not a winner 4) highly inaccurate (for an NFL QB), especially with guys open by 5 yards or more 5) inconsistent
I won't mention any names, but someone here is SERIOUSLY fixated on Jimmy Garoppolo, it's almost unhealthy....
[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848] Who could @Whisky be talking about?!? [emoji6] In all fairness, if decent QB play was the major thing holding ones favorite team from the championship, I'd be fixated too. Fortunately, the Cowboys have a longer list of issues than Dak between us & the Super Bowl! [emoji2]. T
On a serious note, I understand why you feel the way you do...because you were wrong about Jimmy and I was right about Jimmy...it's okay, don't feel bad, I am certain it's not the first time you've been wrong, nor will it be the last
I don't recall saying much about Jimmy, please enlighten me. I don't think he is a 'bad' QB - some teams could do worse without him.
When the 49ers first signed him, and he hadn't taken a snap as a 49er yet, I was vehemently against this signing. I never liked him, because I saw how injury prone he was in NE. And I was also against him because after 2 games in NE they were already crowning him as the next great QB, to which I said he will be the next Rob Johnson (remember him, was a backup, had a good game when he filled in for the starter, everyone went ga-ga over him, Buffalo signed him as their starter, and he turned out to be a a dud) You semi attacked me for my thoughts on Garoppolo and defended him as a good QB. He is far from good. I never ever said he was "bad" QB, I just said he isn't very good and is not the answer if you're looking to win a Superbowl. Funny how I saw that back then, yet all the "experts" and analysts are just staring to say this now.
