EXCELLENT breakdown - I really never considered it at this level of detail but when you lay it out this way it is quite shocking/interesting! What the heck are you doing messing around on FChat? You should be on ESPN man! Seriously - You provide better detail and insight than 90% of the guys/girls making mass $$ on TV!
Because in Fantasy Football, I'm too cautious, I don't go with my gut when sometimes it is screaming at me to start certain players or pick certain teams in our pick 'em contests. Plus I have a bad habit of changing players out at the last minute - which almost always costs me.
You realize that was in the last century? If we want to go back that far, I don't remember anywhere NEAR the injuries back then that there are today, the players today are sooo much bigger, stronger, faster, smarter than ever - and get hurt a lot more. I think a lower-tier team today would beat the '72 Dolphins - and I LOVED the Dolphins - just by how much the entire game has changed. (Tennessee, Vegas, today's Dolphins, Cleveland, Seattle...)
Yeah but (not blowing sunshine here) your analytical views/skills rally many I see on TV - whether it is fantasy analysis or real - Just sayin
Right, but they could have at least acknowledged the suggestion. Basically they don't give a _____ what fans think
What is the NFL? The answer is - It is the 32 owners. And yes, they all want to maximize their investment. And where does the vast majority of their income come from? Easy - The TV contract. So they will do whatever it takes to make the TV boys happy and that includes getting the show done within a certain timeframe.
No what is ridiculous and mickey-mouse is if you win the toss and score a touchdown you win. Complete Mickey-Mouse ********!
The reason the overtime rule is so short is 1. The longer players play the more prone to injury they are 2. Players association would have to agree 3. Teams that play long overtime games are at a disadvantage the next week playing against a team that is more rested However, l believe both teams should touch the ball. More interesting for the fans. If it ends in a tie, so be it.
"If it ends up in a tie, so be it" doesn't work in the playoffs. Other than that I agree with everything you stated.
