The rear end of those 59 Chevys had to be the worst design idea ever. I think Ford outsold Chevy that model year for the first time in decades. Thanks for the post. I really enjoy the old Vegas photos.
Prices have changed a little bit since the 70's. Buffet dinner for $2.98! The El Rancho is long gone as the Fountainbleu now rests on its spot.
In the mid 60's you could see Dean Martin and Count Basie in the Copa room at the Sands. Is there a time machine somewhere? Image Unavailable, Please Login

The original Flamingo bungalows built by Mr. Siegal were still welcoming guests back in the 80's at the Flamingo. I think they called them the Garden somethings.
Pretty amazing video of Fremont street from the beginning to today in photos, movies, and pop culture
That was great! Only watched until 1967, which was the first time my parents took me there. Saw Red Skelton.
Awesome pics RW is in trouble. Compare people walking in front of Bellagio with the # of patrons at RW. Street vendors know where to ambush tourists and they do not waste their time at RW.
