"Good tires" Bob mused while casually lighting a cigarette
    "But certainly not great tires"

Indeed. I'm assuming it's a Z51 equipped car (high wing spoiler)...Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires...NOT the ticket for snow/ice. I guess the guy knows that...NOW.

This happened to me with a Fiat 3P in NJ. It was in a parking lot so I just left it there for the snow to melt. The entire lot was sealed off so it wasn't going anywhere anyway. A few weeks later I went back and the car was literally frozen solid to the pavement. It was ice from the bottom of the car to the tarmac. So I forced open the door and tried to open the hood. I thought if I could get it started that would make the ice melt. The plastic hood release handle broke in my hand. All I could do is let the ice melt away a few weeks later. And --- with a jump of the battery after I used a vice grip to pull the hood latch cable -- that little Fiat started!

I wish they would bring back the classic gold. I wouldn't buy it but I think it would be a pretty good retro color

The SF90 spider has a similar special color.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm going to take delivery of the c8 and drive the hell out of it until the zo6 is in my garage.

The way things are going, I'll probably still sell a used c8 for something near what I paid for it.

It's not really "your" spot to sell.

Besides, unless you are WAY up towards the front on the Z06 list, you're probably years away from getting one. Get the Stingray, and you can essentially drive it for free for a couple of years.

I don't see new Stingrays catching up to demand for a while. People ordering Stingrays now from the big guys are being told upwards of 18 months to get a Stingray. Keep in mind that Z06 is going to cut into the number of Stingrays built in a fairly large way. So, I'm guessing Stingrays will continue to trade above MSRP for the foreseeable future.

PS. The above is my OPINION, it is worth what you paid for it...

My salesman called yesterday to say "there has been some movement, and we think your car may be on the next truck".

I know they know whether or not it's inbound (or can find out), but this guy has been very cautious re over-promising, so I'm thinking I may see it before the driving season begins.

I just got another call from the dealership and my car has been built.

They can't tell me when it will be in, but based on others experiences, I'm expecting it to be here before the end of the month.

It's not as if you all haven't seen a c8 before, but I'll post pics when I get it.
