I find the "sports car" versus "GT" argument to largely be semantics, but the MC20 has very little luggage space for a "GT." The interior also looks more "sports car" than "GT" to me as well.
I am putting my deposit down tomorrow for spider. It is refundable but I think some of that is Colorado law. I believe I will get first spider at our dealer. Hope that is right. I know it will be a while but think it will be worth the wait.
Perhaps they're tearing a page straight out of the Countach play book, your luggage and boxes of chocolates have to be transported in another vehicle? (see the 60 Minutes Morley safer interview @ 6 minute mark a true classic). +1 for the Bora LOL.
It's not that I couldn't find it ... I just didn't want to be the one to post that here. So many sensitive here toes at times. We all just been to the factory as a part of F Mandarano's first Car Guy tour in 86 and met Ing, Alfieri there and at the Maserati Factory celebration as well.
Never had any problems to get my luggage in my ex- Countach LP400. Although I was with it in Italy twice, I used or the longer travels my ex-Khamsin.
The MC20 BaT listing was withdrawn. Anybody knows why? I wonder if Maserati objected to this auction ..... Ivan
Additionally, the car did not have a title yet. Many objected to BaT allowing the auction in general as, per their guidelines, the car must have the title submitted and confirmed to be legitimate prior the any action beginning. It's likely BaT just took it down to avoid the backdraft
I was wondering how he was getting away with selling it so fast..........I know you get black balled for doing that with FNA.
The seller had stated the title was 'in transit' but was surely legit. Many took issue with this. For whatever reason I'm glad it was pulled down.
Received a nice modest swag box from MNA today. Included a letter from Bill Peffer and couple of MC20 themed items (hat, etc). It’s really nice to see MNA getting involved to engage with customers who have orders in the queue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So this guy is a broker? Why wouldn't Maserati put their newest and hottest car directly in the hands of an owner?
It seems to me he bought it from the original owner and will mark it up. I have no idea who he is but he says he can't film in a private residence when doing the deal.
