    A few stories state that Chinetti was re allocated 5 RHD 275 GTS that Maranello Concessionaires could not sell. It's also stated that they were converted to 6 carb, but not clear if all were converted. Also, some articles sate that they were converted to 6 carb at the factory rather than by Chinetti and some stating converted by Chinetti. I know at least one of them had to be re converted to 3 carb to get Red Book Classiche Certification, so the ones converted were likely all done by Chinetti? Perhaps Marcel Massini could clarify?

    Nineteen RHD 275 GTS were ordered in total by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd., only fourteen sold in the UK, the last five were sold in the USA. The last five RHD's produced were chassis #07795, 07845, 07913, 07997 and 08007 and all had six carburetors and ten millimeter camshafts, and were then sold to Chinetti to be sold as "pseudo" race cars.

    I believe (from an excellent source) all road car tipo 213 275 engines have 10 mm lift camshafts (but without the longer duration of competition 10 mm lift tipo 130 camshafts), even though some of the early factory build sheets may incorrectly state 9 mm lift.

    So were these 5 RHD 275 GTS cars allocated and sold by Chinetti factory built with 6 carbs?

    Steve is correct. ALL 275 street engines were built with camshafts with 10 mm lift regardless of what the Build Sheets say. This was the standard street 275 camshaft.

    The Build Sheets for 7795 show three carburetors. I am aware the factory could have installed the six carb setup before the car was shipped to Chinetti.
