Thanks for the explanation. My Roma is not sports specs ,ie no carbon and full cuoio interior .I’m going for elegant look so I don’t know how fuoco will look on it with it’s orange flakes although I saw the color on the monza sp and looked amazing! From your explanation I feel you will recommend the maranello, right?

To be honest, I can't recommend Maranello enough. With Cuoio , it'll be stunning. It's what I'd spec on a Roma were I to buy one.

They are all great colors and far more interesting than the flat ones!

I believe it is Rosso Monza.

There is a guy on this forum that has one in Sydney too. He says it is the only one in the world however I don’t believe it is.

Depends on the color of the sky and/or lighting.

    I have 2 x Argento cars.

In the photos below you can my TDF is more blue than my Pista. This is simply due to the garage door being up at the TDF and the garage door being closed at the Pista.

    It’s quite a big difference.

Anybody know anything about this color? Saw it on a 458 several weeks ago.

Have you seen the one they show in the promo pics? I'm not sure which color that is. It looks to kind of have the same smooth look as Maranello. I'd probably choose Maranello, but fuoco may lend itself to a more aggressive spec if doing the AF package. In the sun, both are fantastic.

    Thanks for replying :)

I have seen that in the promos and youtube videos. That one is Rosso Imola, which has a tint of bronze or copper in the flake from what I think at least. I really like it but not crazy in love with it. No AF for my spec. I think the 812 classic elegance goes well with the Maranello and may also with the classic lines of the 296 also. Are you in the OC area?

Fuoco is similar in ways with some copper/gold. Maranello has none of that, even a little purple in certain light, but more like an overtone of it. It is also silver based. I'm just north of the OC.

True, I still wouldn't doubt the Fuoco is more impressive than the Rosso Imola. Maranello from your description sounds very pretty, do you have a favorite between the two? Really so the base layer 1 is silver? I'm kind of near Irvine. When I take delivery of the 296 we should meet up for a drive.

For sure! I prefer Maranello overall. It's just shockingly gorgeous in the sun. Mind you, in the shade, it's not very interesting, lol. I also like how you catch a glimpse of the color as light hits differently. If you go to Ferrari NB they had a sample of it on a car shaped body in their atelier.

That's how I felt about it form the photos/videos online. Tbh it almost looks like a chameleon in sun vs. the shade. Correct me if I am wrong. Yeah lol probably the only time I drive a nice car in OC is when the sun is on full blast. Which, if you're inland from the beach is like 280+ days a year!!! I do actually, they will be my dealer for the 296. When I went in for my appointment to initially spec the car they were under renovations and things were kind of messy. I currently have Giallo Triplo Strato as my paint but I am leaning towards red triple layers again! :)

I was considering Giallo Triplo as well. It’s stunning! May do it on the sf90. I like the 296 in yellow, but if you’re feeling red, I get it! I would ask them if they have a sample of that Maranello. They didn’t know that they did and I found it. [emoji23]

Yeah I am right on the fence about it. Oooff that would look so sick! The combo of the cars side by side with triple layer paints would look stunning! Same here and considering the 250LM was red or yellow I feel either will look beautiful and have ties to the classic. I will pop in there and ask them to see if they still have it. The new sales exec who is working with me will need to look for it for sure haha!

I’ve got Rosso magma coming on an 812GTS eventually. I hear great things about that color as well. That might be an interesting play considering it is a little brighter than Maranello. I have not seen it in person except for on Maseratis floating around.

Rosso Magma is also very cool but I ended up ruling it out as it didn't speak to me the same way as Maranello, Fuoco, and Giallo TriS. On YouTube there is a no shortage of footage for Fuoco or Magma but very few on Maranello. Maybe its rarer? I found the Coburn to also look very pretty. Something I am waiting on my sales exec to get back to me about actually is the cost for having the seats in MycroPrestige synthetic upholstery.
