    too close to home on the accidents we have in our industry. I know we have hundreds of flights a day. But when you know a guy that goes down. It spooks you a bit.

    Just for clarity ...........why were two National Guard Blackhawks trying to land on a ski slope? I can appreciate the excuse that they were practicing landing but this is just stupid.

    Supposedly they were practicing for a mountain rescue. They need to be able to land in snow, so it makes sense that they were practicing, particularly since it clearly shows they were not ready.
