Right, definitely my thought now. I was supposed to go on a trip in 2 weeks with friends in the Hill Country, might be taking another car now...
Just got a PPI on that $80k one. Leaky front strut and heat doesn't work. And 80k miles, so not a lot of comps! ZFFYR51A8X0115471 Also a rebuilt white 360 Modena manual near me for $90K on FB with some terrible pics. Very custom but very cool. ZFFYU51A210123071
Front strut no big deal. No heat… fan or control or no thermostat… Hopefully did not yank thermostat after serious overheating issue…. I’d off $65 and see what pops. No car buying for me now… saving for a diff house.
Put in a higher offer than that today, we will see what they think. Heat isn't a big deal to me in Florida, but would want to fix it in case that causes other issues at some point. Strut can be fixed easy. Was reading and apparently the STOP button on the A/C controls is confusing, wondering if the people who did the PPI couldn't figure that out, and the heat might actually work.
I am just a messenger, don't blame me if you haven't seen this already! https://bringatrailer.com/2022/03/01/bat-auctions-presents-the-gated-collection-from-driversource/ It seems like a crime to have obtained a collection like that and then break it up... It will be interesting to see what the Scaglietti and Modena sell for!
boy that verde modena is an interesting color combo....green carpets to boot....NEVER seen that before....
I see 360s come up on Pcarmarket often, and they never seem to hit reserve, then they go to "Deal Tank" and still don't sell. I really don't know why people sell Ferrari on Porsche specific auction sites.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-ferrari-360-modena-34/ sold at $115,000. And another 1999 silver lined up already! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-ferrari-360-modena-22/ There must be a waiting line...
Surprised that one only went for $115k, considering the other ones that went for over 130 has more miles. Wonder what the issue with that particular one was.
No issue at all. By all accounts it’s a fantastic car. It was purchased by a friend (and fchatter). He did a ton of due diligence. I think he just got lucky and this one fell through the BaT cracks. Fwiw, I have a good many of the stock parts that he would need if he wants to ditch some of aftermarket bits on that car so it’s an easy car for him to get into.
I'll likely be selling them, you have the right of first refusal. I am the high bidder of the Grigio Ingrid car yesterday on BaT that closed at $115k plus $5k buyers fee. I look forward to the ownership experience and will likely start a thread once there's something to share. It had a major in Oct-21, the plan is to get it to CO from NV, drive it, and sort it out as needed over time.
Pretty interesting 360 Modena with odd/cool/rare spec on BAT now. Interested to see how this one does, along with the silver modena that's on there now... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-ferrari-360-modena-16/
I know it’s not a Modena but this just sold on ACV. VIN ZFFYT53AX10123013 Mileage 14,371 Cracked windshield, paint work all over and the top doesn’t work. This seems like retail+ kind of $ to me, all things considered. Someone just got in over their head… Image Unavailable, Please Login
