GTO style grille for GTB still for sale?
Hey guys. Bittersweet post here. First....long overdue interior/exterior videos with valves open and closed. Setup: Fabio's headers, cats, secondary cat delete pipes, and stock mufflers with Forza Componenti bypass controller. In-car partial throttle, valves closed: Ferrari 599 Fiammenghi headers incar partial throttle acceleration - valves closed - YouTube In-car WOT acceleration, valves open: Ferrari 599 Fiammenghi headers incar acceleration - valves open - YouTube Exterior WOT acceleration, valves closed: Ferrari 599 Fiammenghi headers acceleration- valves closed - YouTube Exterior WOT acceleration, valves open: Ferrari 599 Fiammenghi headers WOT acceleration - YouTube Exterior WOT flyby, valves open: Ferrari 599 Fiammenghi headers WOT flyby - YouTube Now for the bitter part... I unexpectedly won a BAT auction for a Grigio 550 (which I have always wanted), and will need to sell the 599 in order to fund that purchase. The GOOD news? That car belonged to a very active f-chatter and also has Fabio's headers already installed. Keeping it "in the family". I will be listing my car in the classifieds this week, and am happy to remain a resource for those who are self-installing these headers in their 599 and have any questions.
Very nice opened and closed! Congratulations on winning the auction, that's a beautiful looking 550. Best of luck and GLWS.
Hi Chris How do you managed it that the valves do not open ? Having both, 550 and 599 with the 6-1 is the best you could have. But if it's not possible, hard to say what is the better car. I think with 6-1 in both, I would prefer the 599 before the 550. Congrats to your 550 and good luck with the sale of the 599. Daniel
Glad to see you bought the 550, keeping it in the family indeed! He's posted some nice videos on youtube, hope you'll continue that tradition, too .
Hi Daniel, The Forza Componenti bypass controller has 3 modes: 1. ECU Control (bypass opens at approx 3k RPM depending on throttle position 2. Bypass always open 3. Bypass always closed In my opinion, this controller is a better design and easier installation than Fabio's. I shared this info with him with some details so hopefully he will be making some changes to his. Appreciate the kind words. I absolutely love the 599 and will miss it very much. Objectively it's a much better car, but I have always wanted a 550 and am looking forward to going back to the manual transmission.

I don't like black wheels. On Yellow they can work and I love your car. I still prefer a dark gray so the wheel wells don't become black holes in the side of a car. Did you consider dark gray?
