    Hi Christian
Following your post with great interest. Thanks for all the details.
Would you have a part number for the coil over Koni's you used to replace the load leveler shocks?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Mike,
i will ask for the details, if i remember correct it wasn‘t a Koni, it was a special build
which fit in the old original level shock.

    Wow,

I am very new here so pardon if my post is innapropriate in any way.

You have no idea how grateful I am for all of the detailed photos that you provided.
    I am a proud new owner of a 1972 C4.
    It is beautiful and unrestored.
The guys at Miller Motorcars said that it was the most original example that they have seen and I wish to keep it that way as you have.

I am hungry for technical information, parts suppliers, repair manuals and the like.

I grew up working in my dad's small garage in rural Illinois and would like to think that I'm a decent mechanic, but I am totally intimidated by the Ferrari.

I restored my 1967 E-Type from bare body shell about 20 years ago.

    Sorry for the premature post...

I had never worked on a British car in my life but I bought Haynes manual for it and some restoration books and five years later it looked as new.
Except for the factory repair manual (I have one) that is writen in Italian, could anyone recommend any other repair literature that is available
    for this car?

Thanks in advance and if Marcel would like to update his report on this car from 2015 to the present, it would be an honor to help.

    Gary

After the first 1.000 Km the car went into the spring service,
get the cylinder head screws tighten up and the annual service.

After all suspension parts were overhauled and the the rear Konis
were rebuild and optimized the front Konis now get their rebuild.
Last year i wanted to drive and choose to do that in the coming spring service.

And the last detail outside are the rims. Car has a majority of first paint
but not the rims and there are some small defects and they will get a new finish.

In the interior i had some problems with the thin foam underneath the cockpit panels
and i removed and cleaned all the parts in the era of the steering column but
saw that the most foam underneath the big cockpit panel is bad too and so we
will remove it and renew the foam.

Because the 365 GTC/4 back was designed and constructed for both, single line and double line plates
and my car used this kind of plate since day one and so i don’t welding and painting the holes and used
it the way the first owner did.

And in YOUR eyes it looks terrible…

yes, beacuse left and right is so much space and between the lights a 1 lin plate would match much better - in my eyes ;)

All Italian plates were square during these years. There is nothing more horrible than an Italian car with a long plate in the back.

    Great pictures, as always.
I will be interested in seeing how the foam is replaced. I had the same problem and just took it off, and left it off.

And then there are 4 holes and the open edge in the bottom line…
    This will look terrible!

Looks great to me. Car is beautiful, and the plate fits the opening. So what's not to like? Not a damn thing.
