Been sitting in my closet for several years and time to let it go.
First of all, I am no expert in vintage tool kits. This was in my 62 GTE when I had it some time ago. I am certainly open to comments and questions about the kit.
Jack is not for a 250 GTE. It is too long to fit in the bag. I don't know what model it was for, and invite opinions from those that know more about this than I do.
Tools I know are reproductions, purchased from Tom Shaughnessy in an effort made by me to complete the kit:
    - Oil filter wrench
    - Spark Plug wrench
    - Hub puller
The remainder are original, to the best of my knowledge.
Bag is in really nice shape. Straps are complete and pliable. No tears, separations or rips.
One rivet is missing on the bag handle strap mount.
Asking $7500, however open to constructive comments and realistic offers.

224 views as of today and no replies. Hmmmm.
I would sure appreciate some comments from the community regarding this tool kit. Would like to see it go to a good home at a reasonable price.
    Thanks
    Mike

Honestly it appears to be a reproduction bag with many incorrect and reproduction tools.

Thanks, 375+. It is not leather, but some type of vinyl so maybe that is the giveaway. A lot can happen in 60 years. Oddly enough, a local guy here said the bag was original. Maybe a 250 owner on the forum can clarify.

eBay is the safer option. IF BaT accepts it the naysayers will pick it apart.

It has value if a car without a kit is consigned to a major auction. There are frequently images of repop tool and manual sets in the auction catalogs.

agree but it must be an exact copy of original reproduction.
this particular kit is very inaccurate.

Thanks for the opinions. As I said earlier, I am no expert when it comes to this type of thing.
Hopefully someone can use it for a car that has no tools, and not wanting to spend the bucks necessary for an original.

Open to offers. Good starting point for someone that wants to assemble a proper kit.
Local vintage Ferrari guy here says bag is original and correct for the 250 series. Some tools original, some repro, some incorrect.

I thought the jack for this car was built by A. Rejna. Was is built by Bilstein?

    The toolkit is sold.
For the record - the jack is incorrect. Belongs to a German or British sports car, per the guy that bought it.
