I tried to go out last Saturday, but the traffic on Irving Park was so bad I turned around. I made it to the gas station at Western and said bleep it. Kudos to the owner.

 

Too much salt crust out there still. But i did move it a garage stall over. That will have to do till a good rain washes it all away.

We brought our car home from Lake Forest Ferrari on Wednesday. Ah, the smell of leather! Hoping for some great drives and interesting car shows this year!

In my youth I went to Lausanne, Switzerland which was one of the starting cities for the Monte Carlo Rally. I remember taking a picture of just such an Alpine about to start in that race.

Very nice. Two of my favorite rally cars, the R5 Turbo and A110.

PS... Viva Ferrari. Finally a good looking F1 car again, and it's a winner !!!

I rode by continental earlier. And only 2 cars in the lot, no cars in the showroom. But a bunch of cars behind the gate on the west side.

 

Stopped in spoke with Joel. 296 in house tomorrow

 

So there is no Continental Art Show this year?

 

By invitation only?

 

Not sure . Maybe Ferrari club ?. Idk

 

Last week at Continental.... And yes the 2022 Ferrari Club Continental Art show was cancelled. The Ferrari Club is currently looking for a new location for next years 2023 show.
