Now after buying it I would go one step farther and drive by the MB dealer and ask them what they think of your new car!
That's what I did after my MB dealer tried the same s***.
Not that I cared the least about what they thought! But gotta rub their noses in it! LOL
It's the only way they might actually care, when they see they actually lost real money.

 

They won't care. The MB dealer by me is charging a $50k surcharge on the S class and $100k on a G wagon. No test rides allowed any longer

I think in the case of new, the car can't be flipped for the first year except back to the dealer. Used a different story

Absolutely Gorgeous!! I love the Porto's and think it is the pinnacle of "Cali" bloodline. Looks like a baby F12 from the front but better overall proportions IMO (WADR to F12 owners/lovers). I can't think of a better Ferrari DD than a Portofino - And the name alone is classy and beautiful

Just wanted to let you know that your thread partially motivated me to buy a Portofino this past week. Got a very highly optioned 2020 with 1500 miles single owner from my dealership. I've been on the waitlist for about nearly 12 months now for my F8 Spider. Guessing I have about a year more till I see the car with still 8 or 9 in front of me there and got tired of waiting for time to go by while not having a Ferrari. Took my 6 year old daughter to test one and the smile on her face sitting in the backseat with the top down was priceless. Was considering something else in the meantime but to be able to share my enthusiasm and excitement for Ferrari with my children (6 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month old) will be great as the Portofino allows me to have 1 or 2 of them in the backseat. So I wanted to say thank you for posting this as it was one of the factors I read that helped me decide to move forward.

Can I ask about the wheels - are they matt grigio as the plate says or are they different? I have those same std grey wheels spec’d now (RMSC), but I haven’t seen them in person and photos and “grigios” seem to vary widely. Yours don’t look all that dark, which is great for my taste. Thanks!

 

Thank you! She is Blu Sterling interior with white stitching and horses. Here is a marketing photo they had that is super overexposed but shows the blue. The person who ordered this car spec'd all the black interior leather out completely. I absolutely love it. I bought from Ferrari of Palm Beach where I have my F8 Spider order pending to build our relationship further in hopes of someday having a chance at a more limited model order. Ended up giving a fair discount to a reasonable price for the current market albeit quite a bit more than they were last year. Will be curious to see how the ventilated seats work out this summer since it had those as well. There was a Grigio Scurro in Fort Lauderdale but it was getting paint work when I tried to look at it (which caused me to lose interest) and had 3 prior owners with significantly more miles. I ended up loving this one so bought her. Looks like that one sold too interestingly enough.

Great looking interior! I'm not a fan of black interiors either, I looked long and hard to find one I like, and found a Blue Stirling and Sabbia. They should be putting it on a transport to bring it across the continent today!
Be sure to use it lots!!!!

Have a 12K miles now as a DD.
One item that has not been able to be fixed is the audio volume when coming to a stop. While there is a "speed dependent" volume setting, it has no effect on the volume - which always becomes very low when stopped (e.g., at a red light)

For those who know. Does the Portofino come with a strip of PPF where the roof meets the back deck when closed or did the prior owner add that? Mine has a slight yellow line where the rubber meets that PPF. I’m going to replace it but curious if that was factory or addon and if anybody else had that issue so I can prevent it from happening again.
