    We are proud to present our latest offering for online auction at Sackey & Co., this beautifully restored, concours-winning 1981 Lamborghini Countach LP400 S 'Series 3' chassis no. 1121374 finished in its original stunning livery of Nero Tenebre over Bianco Latte. 1121374 is considered by marque experts to be one of the finest restored LP400 S examples extant worldwide.

    Highlights are as follows:

    1981 Lamborghini Countach LP400 S 'Series 3'
    • Chassis No. 1121374
    • Finished in original livery of Nero Tenebre over Bianco Latte.
    • October 10th, 1981 completion date, then flown directly by the factory to LAX for an unnamed VIP client.
    • 52,531 KM (32,641 miles) from new.
    • Possibly the most thoroughly restored LP400 S to date, with restoration cost in excess of $400,000. Full nut & bolt restoration by marque specialist Dugan Enterprises in California completed in 2018, faithful in all aspects to the original car.
    • Less than 160 KM travelled since restoration.
    • Comprehensive appraisal by Chip Davis (Expert Auto Appraisals) noted the incredible quality of this restoration.
    • Winner of the Best Lamborghini award at 2018 Concorso Italiano Concours D’Elegance.

    Having been personally involved in this LP400S's restoration, I can say that this award-winning Countach is easily the nicest Countach of any variant to come to auction in all of the decades I have owned/restored/specialized in these cars, images don't begin to do it full justice.

    The restored 4 liter V12 jewel of the LP400S which has the original 'Lamborghini' cam-covers in use from 1963 onwards, the correct application is wrinkled black with the logo left un-filed.

    The main thing about this car's offering that is different fro all the other Countachs that ever came to the market is is that in 35 years of Countach ownership & specialization, I cannot remember another instance when a fully-restored award-wining Countach has been made publicly available, so this car represents a true collector's opportunity.
