Red Bull has fix in place for Bahrain F1 fuel system problem
Red Bull has put in place a fix for the fuel system problems that forced both its Formula 1 cars out of last weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix.

Although no further details have been forthcoming about what exactly went wrong inside the Red Bull fuel system, it is understood that the team is satisfied it has got to the bottom of the problem and has put in place fixes to prevent a repeat from this weekend’s Saudi Arabian GP.

I would think that if a driver is a No Show he doesn't get paid? AM doesn't look like it will being scoring points anytime soon. Save Seb's $alery and put Hulk in the car for peanuts. Larry should hire me, I could save him millions.

I assume missing a race because of illness will still see him paid.

But I agree, what's the point having Vettel in the car now is a waste of time/money. What's he getting paid, 10 million? Put hulk in there for 2.

Vettel's expertise will get wasted here anyways. With papa stroll sitting in on meetings now, any technical changes that Vettel could influence will get wasted even more so.

Step 1: lock Larry out of the factory

    Step 2: fire Lance

I really doubt they ran out of fuel. They had just come from a (very) long safety car period. Underfueling and miscalculation is one thing, but not by that margin.

IMO, Laurence Stroll is more of a liability for Aston Martin F1 than Lance who is no worst than a midfield driver.

Sky & British F1 press credibility keeps falling. They're now resorting to inserting Netflix-esque narratives, because it sure gets a hell a lot more clicks on their pages rather than '"max and Leclerc get along well".

FWIW, an hour after the stewards decision Leclerc got over it and accepted the result. He flew back on a private jet with Max and others and they discussed the race together and that was that. Leclerc got his elbows out more in the following race.

What is that bs about ''never forgiving"? What a sad state of affairs.

I saw that and thought the same thing. Total BS stirring the pot. What happened at the last race didn’t play into their narrative that they would crash each other like HAM did with Max.

Looking good Lewis, except for the fact that all the clothes he chooses look really stiff and “crunchy” and so uncomfortable. But I guess that’s his problem.

Still trying to get into a Ferrari drive though, I see. :p

I don’t think they ran out of fuel but I do think a quick fix is more fuel as a heat sink to absorb the heat. Just a guess, of course.

Lazy, dolt media desperate to fabricate a narrative for Ferrari as the antagonist of F1.

I’m a bit concerned that Ferrari copied the floor cut-out solution (in front of the rear wheels) from the McLaren possibly because that car was showing no porpoising. Except that the McL is probably showing no porpoising because it’s not producing enough DF.

They are worried not to understand the aerodynamic flow.

If the vapor lock theory is true that's indeed the best solution, and perhaps not something they simulated in the pre-season test (several laps driving at slow speeds on low fuel, then suddenly go back to full pace again...)

Actually I think they're trying to make Max/Red Bull the villain in it all.

The merc fans are already convinced of it.

Shame for the British media that the exciting battle between Max and Leclerc (round 1) was very respectful and they both enjoyed it. But I guess facts don't matter anymore.
