Congrats, looks great! Bianco Italia is a great color. The 812SF is a great complimentary car to the F8. Both fun, but different.

Had mine for 2 1/2 months, done 6000kms [emoji16], love it can’t get enough, and love sharing the legacy V12 experience with friends, family, and complete strangers.
Only issue is the dealer changed the oil from 5/50 to 6/60 because of an engine valve timing issue with temp/oil viscosity after giving it the jandle [emoji6]

Is it just me or after 5000 miles did this car just get more powerful. Wow a year and a half and it’s just epic still.

Although should have happened sooner the exhaust will tend to get a bit more free and sound a little better as well than as delivered.

Factory warranty expiring in June. Have had no issues to date and am considering Ferrari 2 year factory warranty. Any thoughts?

I got the 4th and 5th year warranty on my 2018 812 and I’m almost into the 5th year of the warranty. I daily drive the 812, and I’ve had zero significant issues with it. I replaced the Ferrari battery with an Interstate, and it’s been flawless but I am obsessive about keeping it on a tender. I am having one of the magnetic shocks replaced as well as the racing seat lifter handle in mid-April. Both repairs will be done under warranty. I’m a big fan of the 4th and 5th year warranty as peace of mind is worth something to me. I’ll be picking up the 4th and 5th year warranty for my Pista as well.

Unlike yourself, my 812 is not a DD and is stored on a tender during the winter months. As there are potential issues relating to fluids, seals, etc. due to extended periods of non use, purchasing the 2 year extension may make sense. Thanks for your input.

What about upgrading to the PZero Corsa? They are the upgraded performance tire in the Ferrari catalogue. I have to agree with you on the PZero PZ4 vs Michelin PS4. I switched to them(PS4S) on my V12 Vanquish-S expecting a difference only to find out exactly your results. My 812SF has stock PIrellis and I thinking of the Corsa option. ThoughtS?

I haven't driven the newest Corsas, but since they are more track-focused than the PZ4s, they would be even harder to warm-up, on the road. Il-co-Pilota is an excellent source on tyres, so he might chime in.

My 812 is still on PZ4s which as I've mentioned before has very little grip when cold ie 12'C tyre temps. However when warmed up which happens quite quickly I think they're a great sporty and responsive tyre. Where they fall down is when driving on a cold wet winter's day where they can be potentially lethal. I can only imagine the Corsas being worst in this regard and would require a switch to Pirelli Sotto Zeros when ambient temps drop.
The tyre I'd love to fit are the new improve Continental Sport Contact 7s which would be OK even in Winter but sadly not available in 812 sizes. My thinking now is to fit proper winter tyres in late October and maybe Corsas next Spring.

I don't have a reason to believe that the Conti SC7 would be any better in the cold. Winter tyres is always a wise decision.

I’ve gone with Pirelli Sotto Zeros for the Winter and Michelins for the rest of the year from the get go with both my SF and GTS and have been extremely happy
