    Can’t help but think he felt the pressure and went for broke. Full points for fighting spirit but going 10/10ths is Russian Roulette. Pleased he’s in one piece but he could be an expensive proposition for the team. As Mazepin drove beyond his capabilities attempting to out qualify Mick, he’s wearing Nikita’s boots now.

    Maybe, but I'm not sure...he was already ahead of Kmag at this point. A touch wide and snatching the kerb gets expensive really fast here. A traditional track he'd have gone off into the gravel/parking lot and it would've been seen as a spin nothing more...

    Ocon did the same thing in Q3, in same exact spot, and barely avoided the same result (as Mick). Prior to his (Mick's) shunt you could see he was pressing really hard. Definitely going for broke on an unforgiving track.

    Never really liked or rated KM but I do now, well done sunshine

    Obviously Ferrari power is better than Mercedes power ......... I wonder who tried to tell us differently at Monza some years ago ..... hmmmm it'll come to me :p
