Saw this 250GTO yesterday!! I visited a local Ferrari specialist and he told me the Clay Regazzoni museum was next door! I had no idea! This model is outside and inside there are the real treasures. Although closed, I was still able to make some shots.

I heard the Stirling Moss GTO sold earlier this year or late last year.

    Anyone can confirm?

I preferred the Daytona in its original Pea Green color. Does it still have the hand controls?

I don’t know, as the museum was closed at the time I past it.

I'm certainly not as educated as Marcel, but my reference documentation says 3673 SA is a 4-liter 330 GTO.
It also says it's indeed been owned by Yoshiho Matsuda.

Thanks. Super interesting history for 3673.

Anyone has photos of it wearing the SWB 400 body? And photos of it today or recently?

    No.
But I understand it was sold to YM at the time (1989) as being one.

Is it viewed as a SA nowadays? Or still as a GTO if it ever hit the market?

I think it was there in 1963 also, wasn’t it? If so I saw it race.

In the 250GTO book by Keith Bluemel and Jess Pourret there is a picture of 3673 SA with a SWB body; since it has "BELLANCAUTO" written on the windshield I suppose it's photographed during Fabrizio Violati's ownership.

No, #3387 GT did not race at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1963. From 1963 you may be confusing it with #3987GT which raced with number 24 or #3223GT which was number 32.

Right. It was interesting in 1963 that two independent teams from Texas…Mecom and Rosebud…each entered a GTO.

Wow, I am old. I was there as a 16 year old leaning on the fence. Didn't know anything about chassis numbers back then - only disappointed that Hill and Gendebien weren't driving a prototype, but what did I know? History was in the making right before my eyes.

Same car forty years earlier, I took this in September 1982 at Mas du Clos.
@Miles: how long will the Qatari display last?

To be determined...however I believe this will be right through the rest of 2022 and most certainly here through the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The GTO, Pontiac & Delahaye are on display at The Mawater Gallery which is part of the incredible National Museum Of Qatar which is in Doha. The cars can be viewed for free, but I thoroughly recommend going through the museum if anyone is visiting, all the museums are excellent and many are free. We also installed another Ferrari in a different museum which I can go public upon in a day or two.

So 5095gt has sold to someone in Qatar? Or the owner is just displaying it there?
