Hi all, thanks for any help!

My 2010 Cali is at the dealer right now for the annual and they found a few things that need attention.

One is that the TPMS needs replacement, they are quoting $1405 for this service. From researching the forum the following has been suggested:

    https://www.tpmsdirect.com/Ferrari_CALIFORNIA_TPMS_Sensor_p/9008-04.htm

Obviously this would save me some money but is this something I can just go to a random tire shop and have them install? Or is it something where the dealer has to make them sync up with software or something of that nature?

    Thank you for any help!

If you have an independent tire shop they may be able to mount new sensors, ask them if they have a TPMS tester reader and can program them.. Some may need a relearn procedure. This site has a mounting manual under downloads. www.intellisens.com There are a lot of threads on this issue. Most recommend the Huf brand as it was OEM. Amazon has some generics that don't need a relearn procedure as they come pre programmed.

Order the sensors from tire rack. Sensors self learn. No programing needed.

That easy? Just go to a random tire shop and tell them to pop them in?

Keep in mind. Your Cali is more Chrysler then you may think.

I would be upset over that but when it comes to parts and fixes….not such a bad thing!

Next thing they also diagnosed was the side airbags, they want $1700 to change the connectors in there…

They just need to remove the bridge in the connector. Not replace the air bag.
