    I bought a new '86 Testarossa from them. Unfortunately, no pictures. Does your car have their coat of arms somewhere on the inside of the rear engine cover?

    What may be reproduction license plate frames saying "Hollywood Sports Cars" are offered on eBay. They don't look quite the same as two pictured above.

    Mine is original when car was fir sale in lobby, heavy metal made. I’ve had offers on it, but it stays with car.

    I believe the frames changed over time. I have seen the name on the top and on the bottom, with a white background and a chrome background and the name on the bottom with something like "Racing Team" on the top. It would be easy to change them any time they reordered, so who knows how many variations there were over the years...

    I signed up for a dinner at the Petersen Museum where Chris Vandagriff was to be the speaker. Unfortunately, it was set for the first weekend that LA was shut down for Covid, so hopefully it will be rescheduled some day. In his intro letter for the dinner he mentioned the time all five Rolling Stones walked into the shop unannounced and bought two Ferrari's each! Sounds like he as some stories to tell...

    Hollywood Town Hotel. 1960. This is a gem of a photo as it shows a glimpse of the cars HSC was dealing with before they became a Ferrari franchisee in 1962. Hollywood Town Hotel was demolished in 1973. If I recall correctly, that lot became the main HSC showroom in the 80’s.
