Now that is a cool boat. We purchased our Fairchild Scout from Bill Mayher at Brooklin Boat yard. He was a long time owner of a Concordia. Go to Off Center Harbor to see Bill's video on the Concordia

Travis, it's about 20 feet down right now. We need some good spring rains.

There are bars and restaurants and Lakeway Resort is just above the marina where I keep my boat. Across the lake is the Gnarly Gar which is one of the better boat up options but there are several others. The guys across the inlet from us have a tiki bar. There are marinas up and down the lake. It gets very crowded in the summer.

I've shared several pictures in the past of the wood boat shows in MN. Here is a nice article on the two guys that are putting them on ...

Meet the Minnesota Neighbors Who Share a Love of Working Vintage Boats – Robb Report

Lee Anderson was one of the guys that got me into wood boats. After seeing some of his rigs at the wood boat shows, I wrote him a letter basically asking if I could come over, get educated, look at things, and get a tour. This was probably fifteen years ago. He was the nicest gentleman and walked me through his museum and showed me his collection. Shortly thereafter, I bought my first one ( 1948 17 foot Chris Craft ). John Allen is right behind Lee with a huge collection and another beautiful museum. He also bought the "Bar Harbor Supper Club" on Gull Lake to throw wood boat shows - LOL.

The hardware that these guys bring out every year at the end of August on Gull Lake is incredible. They have two of the best wood boat collections in the world, if not the best two.

And how could you go wrong with Bold? It just needs some deck guns and missiles.

Good choice on liking the Nordhavn. I've spent many hours on various size Nordhavns. Purpose built boat and packs a lot of punch for its size. Comfortable and relatively easy to handle, although tall/large topside can create a challenge with cross winds in tight harbors.

Killer boat, just what you need when you have a larger yacht. I would look great on Bold for instance....

What a gorgeous boat! When Hatteras was great and one of my favorite Jack Hargrave designs, and when there was plenty of old growth mahogany and teak to be had.

How long have you owned it? Home port Suffolk? What do you think about the big C18s vs original power but perhaps it had these when you acquired her? Do you typically cruise around 10 to 12?

    Just found this: https://vessel.iyba.pro/yacht-for-sale/40000047/?id=81729&vessel=2716391

Here's a great book on the great Jack Hargrave you might find interesting.

Finally, loved the Harbour Town picture in Hilton Head. Last year we purchased the slip in which the 70 Marlow is in. And the old Quarterdeck and Yacht house has been totally torn down and rebuilt by William Goodwin and his family, he his making Sea Pines great again.
