    Ok so probably a really dumb question. Are these cars related? The lines and dimensions appear similar. Is that coincidence?

    Totally different cars. I came from a 2015 maser mc cab, to a 2013 cali30. F car alot quicker and faster. Although back seat of cali is smaller it's trunk is larger. Although Cali is gt as well, it handles alot more like a sports car with the added extra of a hard top convertible. F car has dct as well. Cost of admission and maintenance on f car is quite a bit more though.

    I own Maserati Ghibli SQ4 and Ferrari Cali. Even though M is using F engine but completely different animal. My Cali is really good on handling and turning on tracks and much faster and powerful than my Ghibli. Live both for different purposes [emoji23] Image Unavailable, Please Login

    The Ghibli SQ4 uses a V6 FPT engine, nothing to do with Ferrari. The V8 Maseratis have Ferrari built engines.

    What I said is Ferrari built engine for Maserati. In other words it’s Ferrari engine that is put in Ghibli….It generates 440 HP…. Not bad under flag Maserati [emoji23] Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Totally different animals. I had a new maser gt for about 6 months and moved to new Cali as my first Ferrari. Maser is a nice, big…feels big to me…gt car. The Ferrari felt smaller to me. It also felt much more special. I know some think that it’s not 100% Ferrari and was supposed to be a maser and the GT’s replacement but I disagree. I still like the looks and it has an NA V8 that sounds fantastic. Unless you have small to mid size children you want to drive around with, the Cali all day and any day in my book.

    Ferrari indeed assembled those V6s, but they were designed by Maserati and the block was built by Chrysler. Not a real Ferrari engine, like the V8s.

    Completely unrelated cars. Personally prefer the look of the GT (pre-facelift) but the Cali will destroy it performance/handling wise. The GT is also a genuine 4 seater and even adults can fit in the back (loved my GTS, had a 2016 from new although don't need back seats anymore so now have a Roma which has joke back seats).

    Both wonderful cars but would say quite different briefs.
