How does the engine handle the tires? Looks to be 37’s? Without a gear swap, that may punish the clutch, but a lot of that depends on how it’s used and driven. Looks awesome.
Well, we just picked it up and I drove it home. Son still has to take his permit test. Yes, it’s on 37’s, there’s some tire noise. It’s a manual so gearing seems fine. Next weekend we’ll do a little off roading. Fun little truck. Yes, I believe only the smaller one has the option for a manual tranny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did a proper orientation with my son off-roading… the Bronco’s a beast! Got to teach my son to dabble with the stick. He loves it! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My parents just test drove one - they liked it - hope they buy one. It helps keep them "young" - my Dad is 79 and my Mom turns 77 in July - LOL MDS
Had my 2-door stick shift Bronco for a month now. Picked it up in West Virginia, so first 100 miles were snowy mountain roads in the dark! Very much enjoying it. Comparisons to the Wrangler are tempting, as that's the primary market competition, but this really reminds me of my of stick shift FJ Cruiser. I'm still waiting to order a raptor. My local dealer has one in stock...54k adm so total of 140k....just silly.
Decided against raptor for various reasons, mainly wanted two doors and short wheelbase, and finally got to order. Wanted a badlands with sas and manual but no manuals. So went wild trak. We’ll see what i get and when i get. Also packaged an expedition with stealth performance, we love ours but ready for a refresh.
A friend bought one. Not a good looking SUV IMHO (the original was something else), but that’s only my opinion, buy what you like
Neighbor bought a WildTrak. He said the windshield is so vertical and prone to rock chips that they sell separate warranty coverage for it. Sounds weird. The green wa pretty though.
I ended up ordering a Wrangler 392, and that thing is soooo damn fun to drive and sounds the business
