812 GTS Allocation

Interestingly, my car is now complete but I haven't been sent any photos other than the pre paint version. Its now supposed to ship any day and be here in late may or early June. Fingers crossed.

 

I noticed I had a VIN number on the App a week ago, so I guess it's at the ordering up parts stage. I am getting excited, which I did not really do with the Superfast for some reason.

 

When my F8 Spider was delivered to my dealer in fall 2020, I had delivery arranged with Esoteric. Todd and his steam did paint correction, wrap and then ceramic coating. When Esoteric delivered the back to me, I was so impressed I had the driver take back my 2014 F12 for seem treatment. If you go to the Esoteric's gallery, I have the TPL yellow F8 Spider and the Rosso Berlinetta F12.

Anxiously awaiting my car- was told went on the water 3/17 - dealer says 6-10 weeks from that time to SF. Anyone have any insight on timing? Thanks

Mine was on the water on 12/21, in NJ 2/21, and got to the dealer in Chicago last week. It did get damaged on the water which is the reason for the delay between NJ and my dealer. Still waiting for the replacement part but I took my son to see it on Saturday. Looks to be the same color as yours: TDF Bleu.

 

What got damaged?

 

The part that holds the driver's side mirror probably had a hairline crack because the paint was messed up. Again, a quick fix once the part arrives. I will try to post a pic where it might be visible.

 

If you look at the bracket that hold the driver's side mirror to the door, you will see a corner where that's white where the bracket meets the window. That is supposed to be black. Easy fix.

Got an update and some good news. I placed my order for 812 GTS at Ferrari Las Vegas back in June 2021. Was told 18 months at that time. The dealership has gotten only one allocation in since the start of the year so I was starting to get worried. They had a factory rep visit a week ago and told the sales team that Maranello was focused on churning out F8s for now. Presumably, 812 GTS production would start back up in earnest after this.

Anyway, my excellent sales rep Santo just informed me that I am second on the 812 list! So I am hoping that they at least get two more builds soon and I’ll be one of them hopefully. I’ve always said that I don’t mind a long wait, 18-24 months is ok, but I don’t want to have nothing to show after that wait. Fingers crossed!

Anyone look into air cargo recently? I just asked my dealer he told me 50k (40k USD)

 

Did you get a sense for how long the focus on F8s would last? I suspect that's causing a lot of backup but I have no idea how long that backlog is.

 

Unfortunately no. The factory rep was vague about it apparently. It was communicated quite obviously that there are many more F8 orders than 812s so they are trying to clear some backlog at the moment. Wish I had more info too.

 

My 812 went 10r last week with July 3rd week of production.
Wondering when to expect delivery, special paint & painted shields add dream lines.

 

Funny to hear one allocation for FLV? That’s odd. They must have more orders. The local dealer has one coming in a week it seems.

If your order is in you’ll get it. Just wait.

My TM GTS just finished and I expect it’s three to four months before it arrives stateside east coast.

 

I think I am second in a line of ten orders overall for 812 at my dealership. Las Vegas is not a big market.

 

Stage 90 about 2 weeks ago and completed photo up today. Best guess is 60-90 days away.
