    Hello,

The rear left of my 812 was backed into at a car storage facility here on the east coast. Obviously devastating as the car was in pristine condition before.

The owner of the facility is going to have it repaired at a shop out here. Does anyone have any insight on any residual things I look for in repairs? For example, potential damage to the suspension, sensors, etc?

    Thanks in advance

I'm glad to hear that. That's where he said they're sending it.

That's reassuring. So is it safe to assume they're thorough enough to check beyond the cosmetic damage?

I'm going to speak with them when they receive the car. That's why I was wondering if there's anything else I should mention. The person who hit it is covering damages OOP.

Ouch, that's going to cost him. Doesn't he have insurance?

There's also diminution of value to consider.

Diminution of value is definitely a concern, which ideally is mitigated if it really is just cosmetic. I don't want to divulge too much about the business/who's responsible for the damage, but I imagine they don't want their insurance anywhere near this.
