IMHO, there is close to a zero chance that this will be a manual top. It will be a mechanism similar to SF90S.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CcfduoBKDxO/?hl=fr Are you ready to meet our newest mid-rear-engined berlinetta? April 19th 2 PM CEST is the date to remember.
Here are two screenshots from the video: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I don’t see any part of the 296 here… And if they are talking about a berlinetta, that could be a SP car (or maybe a mistake from Ferrari).
Think it going to be a Roma replacement. Mid rear engine isn’t the 296 and Berlinetta isn’t a convertible I thought. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I think the first is the same center console that the 296 GTB. Second really don't know. But maybe it's not the 296 GTS, but on the vidéo it's the same Center console and display.
What could it be if not the GTS/Spider version of 296? But clearly, “Berlinetta” refers to a closed top car. Wonder if the Ferrari marketing department made another error on this post?
Well they never called the 458 , 488 , 488 Pista , F8 a Berlinetta which they are calling the 296. They called them spiders.
My take is they didn't make a mistake. We are going to see something different to the conventional 458, 488 , F8 spider.
Considering that it is expected to see an open top version of 296, I’m suspicious in case some one actually wanted to mean “barchetta” instead of “berlinetta”? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

The arche between the two seats reminds me the Sergio, with an engine bay having a similar shape too. I like it better than the SF90 Spider.
