    Difficult to say as they’re all different from each other and span over twenty years of technology and evolution so they provide quite different experiences. The 348 is the most civil of the bunch, it’s fairly analog, and it’s enjoyable to drive. The 355 is quite a bit more raucous and provides a fully visceral experience in how it rides and drives. I haven’t driven the 360 on a track yet but it’s beautiful to look at and sounds great… even compared to my CS (looking forward to really using it in a couple of months). The 430 is an animal. It’s very fast, sharp input with a great feel of what the car is doing at any time on the track. The 458 is a tremendous car to drive. Still NA, wonderful sounds and exceptional feedback. It verges on being too quick to enjoy on some tracks and I think driving it 8/10ths is plenty.

    Fortunately I’m just out having fun with them from DE events to sharing them at shows or displays so how well they perform anymore isn’t my priority. The enjoyable experiences they provide on track, the history behind each car and series, and the stories and smiles they elicit off track is what it’s all about. That’s why I believe the challenge cars are amongst the best Ferraris to own.

    No personal experience, but a tech once told me the 360 challenge cars were prone to snap/spins. They softened the rear suspension in the 430 cars, which allowed it to grab better. However, some 430 racers went back to the 360 suspension. Go figure.
