My Nouvolari Super Sport has arrived straight from England. I just finished installing it and I instantly love it compared to the stock exhaust. Can’t wait to take my car with its new exhaust for a ride. Amazing value for the money.

This is the loudest version, right? Looking forward to an extensive review of the sound while driving it.

    Looks like a nice unit.

The exhaust tips are a bit low in the grill, the one on the right might vibrate on the grill. If not you are good to go.

If that is something you need to address, you have to loosen the other exhaust connector pipes that connect to the headers, and orient the muffler using those while loose, along with the muffler connection loose as well. A bit of juggling to get everything dead centre grill aligned.

The donoughts in those pipes might be old and heat and corrosion welded in if they have never been removed, so not necessarily a quick project as it sounds. I had to remove those pipes, dremel and gouge out the old donoughts, and then reassemble with the fresh O gaskets. Good to renew them anyways though. That's what I did with a Larini I had on mine years ago.

Agreed. I re-installed the rear grille after the exhaust and did indeed notice that the tips are not straight and aligned to the grille. I have to re-center everything now. Shouldn’t be a big deal other that I need to find time.
As for the donought, mine didn’t look especially worn out so I decided to keep it (for now at least).

I must say that sounds really good, nice crackle and fairly high pitch, many aftermarket exhaust seem to give a lower tone. I am curious if it has resonnance at any speed/rpm, that was the issue with my Larini which had a lower tone than yours, so I went back to stock with a Fabspeed cat which gave me a nice sound, a bit louder and scrappy sound without any resonnance.

Nice! I just had a custom exhaust made and fitted. I'll try and shoot a before and after video and post in a couple of days (I already have the before video).

It’s been at the specialists for the last SIX weeks having the fuel gauge fixed. Needless to say I won’t be using them again. I’ll make a video when I get it back.

hmm, is the fuel gauge or the fuel level sender?

If it's the fuel gauge, call Hartmut at Palo Alto Speedometer, he fixed mine.

It was the sender - the specialist had it out and freed it up, tested it and has assured me it's back in the car and working (along with the reserve light). Thanks for the tip, but I'm in the UK! (Although I do know Palo Alto and the area a bit as I was seeing a girl in San Jose for a number of years - cost me a fortune in flights!).

I see, yes- the senders are PITA, I'm trying to get one fixed myself - I feel your pain brother! Hope you had happy memories with the Bay (and the girl.)

    Hello!

    Very nice exhaust!

    What about the sound level?
Is it too much obnoxious, for example at idle from outside?

Also if there is cabin drone, would be a thing I would be interested in.

Anybody else has experience with the SuperSport, maybe also in a non catalytic version?

Okay the moment you've all been waiting for, the before and after sounds of my custom exhaust. Play on a half decent speaker so you can hear the bass!

First video is the standard exhaust, the second video is the custom exhaust I had made, not a Nuvolari. It was much cheaper (£900 fitted).
