Just got back from the dealer their configrator won't be displaying the spider till next week plus more info on options is coming down the pipe line. Seems like Ferrari are not really with it on this launch I expected more fanfare as well as options and colors information

Image Unavailable, Please Login Look between the engine bay cover and the buttresses. See the two black cutouts, one on each side? I suspect those are the two flaps that cover the charge port and fuel filler.
I guess it depends whether you like the visor, I don’t and it’s a major road block for me. I think the GTS design is much better. Granted, it uses the same roof mechanism approach as the 458/488/F8/812, I guess only the Portofino is different and it’s not long for this world.
launch spec looks killer. A lot of the announcements say the interior will have some special bits. Curious what those are.
To me a "spider" is a completely open roof. This is a targa. Just because you can lower the rear glass doesn't mean its "open air". There's still a large beam just behind your head like Targa's of the past.
Interesting question! I don't know. You're right! But then they have called it GTS like the 308 GTS (targa), 328 GTS (targa), 348 GTS (targa) and F355 GTS (targa).
Beside the Audi R8 all other manufactures have buttresses behind the cabin - But personally I love the look of the 296 GTS - Got my deposit down now the 18 month wait starts

I'm with you entirely on having a clean low deck behind the driver creates a better driving experience I remember both my old F355's with fond memories and would love to pick up an R8 one day
I think its really pretty but I do worry about the complexity of the systems. I hope I'm proven wrong.

Its a GREAT looking car , certainly better than the coupe. The windshield on the coupe kills me. However the hybrid really worries me. Anyone been told about the warrantee on the hybrid system ? If its just 3 years like the rest of the car well its a no for me.
