We had a death of a very distant relative in Serramazzoni on Sunday, and was told that Padre Roberto has been helping out in the area, could this be another reason for the Victories !! I hope so / not
F1 championship leader Leclerc robbed of $320,000 watch Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc has escaped unharmed after being robbed of a $320,000 Richard Mille watch in Italy on Monday night.
****ing scum. And people wonder why F1 drivers/tennis players all move to Monaco? Last time I was there this 599 GTO was parked out by the harbor. Window fully open, stuff left inside, hours later I walked by again and stuff was all still there, window still open. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Robbers probably thought that if someone had a GTO with black rims, than there was probably nothing worth being robbed inside!
https://www.planetf1.com/news/carlos-sainz-ferrari-contract-report/ Not a lot of options for either side. Carlos has no where to go unless he thinks Merc may have a seat after Lewis retires at the end of this season. Ferrari has a good pair of drivers to win the WCC this year and beyond, and no way should Ferrari consider Mick at this point.
He lacks the competitive qualities other young drivers are showing such as Norris etc. Possibly this year is the 'year' he must show strength and determination for a better seat. If he does not defeat K-Mag overall/soundly, its not certain he can go to a much better team. Thats ok overall. He is a sound driver but not carrying the exceptional qualities of others.
Germans(???) in the Scuderia: Wolf Zimmerman - he's the man behind the 2022 Ferrari "Superfast" PU. Gianluca Roman(Italian) - Aerodynamicist leaves Brackley for Maranello. He spent 3 years with the Mercedes team.
I’m glad to see Marko talking too much this morning again about their updates for Imola. Our low key profile demonstrates clearly how strong we are right now. Forza !
To be fair this time it wasn't really confident...he more or less said they're taking the risk to make an upgrade in imola, despite only 1 practise session they can use, and risk any setup issues.
He should keep his head down and think of how to keep the RB and others at bay. Then he should work on going head on with Charles when the opportunity exists. Hope he has learnt some lessons from Australia. Throwing away real points is not what the team needs. The role of his race engineer will be equally important. I recall, Monaco GP qualifying when Charles crashed and Sainz was going mad about being unable to outperform him, his race engineer often told him to "keep his head down and focus on race." He won, albeit due to bad luck with Charles.
