I had heard these would be available on line pretty quickly after the in-store sales but nothing yet. Haven't seen anything more about the color bleeding, maybe that's why?

More videos on youtube about the crappy quality of these. Not sure what people expected for $260!? Guess they are what they are for the price. One guy claimed the crystal was seriously scratched by closing the lid of the box and scraping across it. Yeah that sounds pretty durable.

If you paid over msrp or if you waited 5-10 hours in-line for one.... "fool and his money are soon...";)

I was in Dallas for a quick day of work and thought I might go by the swatch store on my way to the airport. I called ahead to ask if they had any in stock and they said no - not had any since the first day.

I know it’s not of great quality but like the novelty of it. I had a swatch a long time ago in the 80’s so it’s more of a fun nostalgic thing and for when I need to go to a higher crime country and not risk the real stuff.

I’m going to add a real moon watch to my collection at some point in the future. Just hadn’t gotten there yet…

so I’ll try again when I hear they actually get more delivered to stores.

Latest rumor I saw was they decided not to sell them online now and they'll only be in stores. But it seems they aren't getting any to the stores, some thought it may be because of the quality issues but who knows.

I was told the same thing at a Swatch store. The salesman said the website was repeatedly attacked when stock was posted. Take that with a grain of salt.

Congrats! I'm still looking for Neptune. Can't pull the trigger on Mars, Sun, Venus and Uranus.

If I stop into a swatch boutique, are the watches there for sale or still hard to find?

I did not buy a single one at a Swatch store. Tried once in NY but the same ole' song and dance. Think I averaged $400 each. Not including the Neptune. That I gave in and paid $1500 yikes.

I waited in line for 4 hours recently to buy one. Ended up getting Saturn. Not my first choice but wasn’t about to go home empty handed after waiting in line that long.

Got home and my gf said “this watch looks like something you could get at the dollar store”

    She kind of has a point… :p

They are available here. Usually the Sun, Venus and Uranus are on hand.

Novelty more than anything in my opinion. But this was a cool little project for myself. I hit a brick wall with collecting guitars so this was a good little distraction.

    They are unapologetically goofy.

People want them because they can’t get them. It is interesting to watch such a tactical game of supply and demand.

Realistically, it is positioning Swatch watches in the realm of Rolex in terms of availability. It's an interesting marketing tactic.

I picked up one- Earth back in February and I get compliments each time I wear it. It’s a fun novelty watch, great for travel

I was in San Francisco late last week. I stopped by the Swatch store.

They said they still have a line at the door when they open in the morning. They said that "Moon" was most popular and most difficult to get.

FWIW, they had the two white case ones in stock (Sun and Jupiter?).
