I am considering purchasing an Autostacker lift. Although more expensive than a standard four post lift, they seem to have many advantages. Has anyone had any experience with the Autostacker.
    Thanks

There’s a thread I started in the Detailing and Showroom forum a couple of years ago, but it’s kind of fizzled out. I hope you get more response here because I’m not laying out that kind of $$ until I get a lot more experience from users.

If I was able to do a lift at my new home that would be the one. 100%. I saw one in action and it was as advertised

    Thanks for your response
You actually saw one in action. It’s the one I want but have never actually seen one.
I would love to speak with an owner.

I've looked into these but my concern would be the ability to open the driver's side door...it looks very tight.

I am adding three lifts (already own an HD-9) and am looking at these guys - anyone use/heard/experience?

With the Autostacker you have to stagger the bottom car

Have been looking at these...any issues with low cars driving over the center "hump" that is on the floor?

nope, 328 and 355 perfectly clear. Maybe only 2-3" total rise.

My M3 and 456 have no issues.

If you are that low, either get the based built into below ground (new pad). Or im Sure there are ways to shim the floor for a shallower approach, wood step.

I believe the standard 4.5 (weight capacity) has an optional low profile base.

The ACL guys were great helping me get it done

Aerosurfer look's steeper and higher than mine, mine is more gradual and not as high. I will get a pic next time.

Actually less clearance on the 355 than I knew. I believe the 328 and Gransport had more. Not an issue I don’t think it has ever rubbed, but certainly close if a car lower than 355. Would have to put 4 boards down and then no issues. No clearance issues up top.

actually, you could get away with just 2 planks in back. that would create more than enough clearance on the bottom.

Ill get an exact height when i get home

Nov 2020 prices was about 9k for the lift.

After install and garage door modifications and electrical Im in it for about $11.5. Im also on standard 4" concrete base and didnt have to do any work.

Garage door high lift and side open opener were about $1100 at the time, plus i did my own 220v electrical for about $150 in materials, both of which would have been needed for any lift

ha, thanks, I love them! very similar feel to the 80’s bikes. I’ve always been disappointed in the new ones I’ve tried since. I’m old school, my original was a 1987 FST in red. I would love to find one, I did buy a restored 1987 Team Master I need to complete.
