To look just like the 308 emblem on the back of my '79 GTS.

Tried a couple emblem makers, but they either want to do it out of acrylic, and/or can't mill the center depression where the white line goes, or got some flack about that "may be copyright infringement".

I can make the emblems black, and get the white in the milled groove, but need something made out of metal, either 7075 aluminum or stainless with the same font as the 308 emblem.

If you do the 3D drawing (or pay someone $10 to do it on Freelancer) then most small independent machinists can do it for you (look on eBay, Craigslist etc.) When I was building prototype ventilators I had a few people with small desktop cnc milling machines making parts for me (most for free to help the cause.) I think I have a 308 badge 3D file I could send you— look on grab cad or others as I found it online.

Why 7075? Most will have lots of offcuts of 6061 they can use so 7075 will be more expensive and probably take longer.

The font is Ferrari trademark... Any shop that knows that will avoid the work. It's a very low probability that's it's a problem but that's the nature of the beast. And in the last 2yrs Ferrari has been on an absolute tear with legal notices on infringement.

There's still options though. Just have to know how to navigate the hurdles.

a 360 crank, 85 MM nikasil liners, bigger cams, and 1MM larger intake valves, its not real complex, but it not real inexpensive either.

There are also 3.5L versions available. Forza offers that conversion

The only draw back to the 2V motor is it stops breathing about 7K RPM or so, where a real 360 5V motor breaths to about 9.5K RPM, and makes more HP due to the high RPM. It would have been nice to have a QV for the 3.6L upgrade, but alas, I don't have a QV.

HP/Tq curve on my motor is very similar to a 360 until you get to ~7K RPM or so, then mine falls flat on its face.

It gets out of its own way now, as compared to stock, and it will most definitely set you back in the seat.

The removal of the heavy stock muffler and cats, and using a Li-Ion starting battery alto took a bunch of weight off. The new Euro fiberglass bumpers I have yet to install, will also save a bunch of weight, which all helps. I took out the spare tire as being pointless with my larger wheels and tires I run, I don't think the front hood would close with one of the 8" x 17" wheels/tires in there..

If you know the font you can have it 3D printed

The 2v has it's limits unfortunately.

Here's a real FIRE combo that is crazy expensive...
    360 crank
    89mm bore
    348 heads
    4.5mm stem racing valves
    Beehive springs
    Lumpy cams
    ITB's
    Dry sump
And all the goodies to make it scream to 10k...
    Or buy a 488.
Anything beyond 350hp in the 3x8 chassis is not really useable. Above 500 and they're a handful that requires extreme concentration. Kinda takes the fun out of it. 700? Plain nuts! Ice skating on banana peels.

Larry, it doesn’t have to be expensive. Keep a look out for a used 348, 355, 360 crank (for increased stroke), bore out or buy bigger bore sleeves/liners, and buy custom pistons to suit the new bore/stroke. I found a crank for $300, pistons for $500, couple of hundred for machining, CAT in Belgium have a fast road cam set for $1500
