Anyone have or know where I can find the correct 12mm tow hook for an 86 TR?

By "correct" do you mean "absolutely stock" or "something that can work"?

Jeff, the tow eyebolt in my 1986 Testarossa toolkit (original) is 16mm.

Something to think about. I once needed to have the TR towed to my F dealer and wanted the towing company to use my tow eyebolt. But knowing that only a few threads engage the tow eyebolt into the front frame member, I used a large washer and a 16mm nut on the back of the tow eyebolt after I screwed it into the frame. Maybe a little overkill, but doing so made me feel secure as the TR was winched up the flat bed's incline ramp and trusting more than a few F threads. I keep the washer and nut screwed onto the tow hook in the tool kit. EDoug
