    Ok - that makes sense. This is why the drawings posted dont show that subframe. How do you service the 512 engines then? Is the engine removal more difficult then? I really need a workshop manual of both, the Testarossa and the 512 TR. I think that the removable sub-frame is awesome!

    That must be significantly harder? Plus you need to remove fenders? Or are they banged and scratched in the process?

    What Ferraris have a removable sub-frame Testarossa-like?

    Actually some think it is easier since .. definitely more risk to fenders

    Not harder..just a bit more time consuming..and no..fenders stay on the car. Proper protective covers are used. That back window will give you a bit of a pucker when that engine begins to swing around in there..

    If may..not to sound rude..but it appears you do not know much about the car you intend to design an engine for. Perhaps maybe you should find and purchase a TR before you build an engine for one?
