Albert, do you have this same bracket on your 208 for the driving/flash to pass lights? I am having difficulty finding the correct light bracket combination. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agree, usually 308 / 328 were factory set with one wiper horizontal to the edge of the lower windscreen i.e quite high up into the screen.

It seems, that the driver's side wiper arm on Alberto's 208 GTB Turbo is designed differently without the bend. I'm curious, whether this is a modification. At least on the 208 GTB/GTS Turbo factory diagram the wiper arm is not straight, but has that kink/bend like usually seen on all other cars. Perhaps they are both passenger wiper arms. I was thinking of doing this myself, both passenger's arms. Doing this will decrease the wiping abilities on the driver's side but living in Southern California we do not get rain often and I do not drive it in the rain when it is forecasted.
Wonderful photos. I'd love to be a passenger in your car driving around with scenery like that. This is one great thing about sharing photos of your cars. Everyone gets to see your countryside. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Julio, Ah. The San Bernardino pass' altitude with its just around 2000mtrs. is more carb and spark plug friendly than the Grimsel and Furka passes last time, aren't they ? Best from Germany Martin
Hi Martin, you are correct. I was in Friedrichshafen a few years back for Aero Expo (https://www.aero-expo.com/) and drove to Idar-Oberstein to see the birthplace of my father. I wanted so bad to swing by your hometown, The Black Forest.
I never drive in rain either. You might consider just removing the wiper arms if you're not going to need them. You can keep them in the trunk and pop them back on in case of emergency. It's nice having a totally unobstructed view out the front.
I'll have to look for a picture of a 328 with the wipers removed. Probably a clean look. And your correct, they just "pop" back on.
Thank you for noticing that detail I've had a few people tell me they really make the car, and I totally agree and love it when people notice!
I think the left wiper arm was changed by the first owner: I have no idea about its wiping abilities, as the car never got rain and won't ever get it until my property. Wiper is only moved to check if it still works: it does, and for me it's enough Ciao
Hi Alberto, how about getting caught in sudden rain showers? Even in Italy. I remember the 50 years Ferrari anniversary celebrations in Rome in 1997. That was partially a quite wet affair. Best from Germany Martin
Martin, I do I want to preserve the two mint fully restored cars I have, as there are other two to drive if there is a rain possibility or wet roads. I never take out the red 208 GTB turbo and blue 308 GTB if there is any rain possibility. Ciao
