F-35 Pilot: NATO Could ‘Completely Destroy the Russian Forces’ (msn.com)
Conversely, will the news media pick up the identity and TASS feed about the hot-shot Ivan, with the big wrist watch?
I would not be surprised if the 40 “kills” included cruise missiles, helicopters, etc. The Ukrainians have been basically using their MiG-29 fleet for short range anti air missions due to the shorter range of on board radar. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

10th Russian general reportedly killed in this Ukrainian rocket attack. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1603798/putin-ukraine-tenth-russian-general-killed-invasion-Izyum-kharkiv-andrei-simonov
An article in the paper this morning detailed how the Russian tanks are so easy to destroy. The ammo for the big rifle is deployed in a circle around the perimeter of the turret. One hit that starts a cook-off ends up with one big explosion of 40 shells. Our tanks have the ammo stored behind or under blast doors. This is in addition to track treads on the Russian tanks that are too narrow to support the tank in soft or muddy soil and they become sitting targets.
That would explain the plethora of Russian tanks in the Ukraine with their turrets no longer attached. Image Unavailable, Please Login

In WW2 the Russians had a real live aerial hero and ace called the Lilly Of Moscow, Lilya Litvyak. A pretty blond girl who took on 7 ME109's and shot down three of them in one encounter. She disappeared over the battle of Kursk.
The White Rose of Stalingrad! Amazing character. There were several phenomenal (and heroic) women who flew for the Red Air Force. Read about the Night Witches some time. They were even more amazing... Read about Nadezdha Popova, who died a few years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadezhda_Popova https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lydia_Litvyak Interestingly, there is some controversy about what happened to Lily Litvak... the wikipedia page goes into it a bit.
Those Turkish UAVs have turned out to be pretty good. We are getting rid of a bunch of Predators. Might be a good place to send them.
There have been a few news articles about a Ukrainian delegation in talks with General Atomics. The TB2s are very capable for their price, but US drones have much greater range and payload. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Bad idea to give more cockpits to the Ukrainians. I imagine it will not be long b4 Ukrainian pilots are cross-trained into the F-16. Of course, some of the F-16's will be filled with volunteers. Step by step we are inching towards general war. The answer is to keep UKR out of NATO and to re-arm NATO with modern conventional and special offensive weapons. Same course of action RR choose during the early 1980's, to confront the Warsaw Pact/USSR.
