Going Superfast….

    So, after nearly two amazing my years with the first Red car I got a dealer offer to trade in for pretty much what I paid for her 20 months and 8500 miles later.

    Red 812 (dealer car, one of first in UK).

    Rosso Corsa over Nero with red accents, dark forged wheels, all the carbon (like, pretty much all of it) and with the matching luggage with shelf bags and carry on cases which is neat!

    Suspension lift, Carbon seats, passenger display and upgraded stereo too.

    Only thing missing is Apple Car Play.

    Pick her up on my birthday next week.

    Drove the 812 they had in to make sure of course and interior is a step on.

    Not got to experience full throttle yet but I suspect the F12 isn’t going to be dissimilar as it’s a ton of rear wheel grunt to start with.

    I was never a fan of 812 BUT seeing in flesh and it’s grown on me oddly. That’s the only thing making me slightly sad she is going to a new home.

    Anyway. Feel free to tell me I am correct/mental as applicable but I can’t see another N/A V12 so will be the last and possibly greatest of its type.

    Can’t wait.

    I did the same and no regrets as the 812 is a truly special car. Many congrats on a last of a long legacy of wonderful V12 Ferraris.

    I wasn’t sure I was going to until I spotted it on the boot plaque and queried! Nice touch.

    I don’t have children - hence having a Superfast haha! But I get your point. Can’t wait to open her up.

    Road trip to Bordeaux, Loire and Champagne in September

    I was at the gas station refueling my 812 last weekend and a young man asked me for advice on how to achieve the ability to buy one. Don’t have kids was my first response, followed by marry the right woman, and find a job that you don’t hate.
