My smog shop said california won't pass it even though it passes the sniffer and check engine light test bec they're aftermarket.

I swapped with fabspeed core changes which have the internals changed but the outside looks like stock then coveted them with heat sheields Image Unavailable, Please Login

That's a good price. Hyperflows aren't made anymore. And if you do get a CEL (most don't, some do), just use extenders on the downstream o2 sensors.

Definitely, you just put a plug in each downstream o2 sensor bung.

Yes correct. Most companies now only make compatible 5.2 and 2.7 exhaust and cats where you just cap the extra sensor bung. It's the same hardware the only difference is the 2.7 didn't have a rear bung. I can provide the bolt cap for that if needed.

what else has the same sound then if hyper-flows are not produced anymore? I am planning to buy Capristo 3 for the F355 but still searching the right headers and test pipes...

i have fabspeed cats which are high quality high flow cats, i believe they sound a bit louder than the hyperflow i had since it has a larger diameter.

Consider having your factory cats recored with 200cell inserts. Retains original look as well.

There isn't a sound difference between cats. There isn't even that much sound difference between cats and cat delete pipes, surprisingly.

I disagree with the latter. Cat bypass definitely is louder and more raw. Not necessarily better, but to each their own.
