They HAVE to quit throwing the red flag -- unless there is somebody in serious trouble. They used to have less than 1 red flag per season, now we get more than 1 red flag per session. it is absolutely friggen stupid.

Did they really ? Perhaps, but now it's grossly exagerated. There are means to treat small track incidents without stopping a race.
The safety of workers, the danger of heavy equipment, the speeds. I see the issues. But they dont even use a virtual safety car now. Seems the Red Flag is the safest option for the current leadership.
In days gone by once a driver was out of the car the stewards would leave it in the run-off area(or behind the armco) until the race was over. Just get the car behind the armco and race-on. Liberty is turning F1 into another NASCAR reality show.
Only the zone where the incident occured needs to be neutralised, not the whole course. Some series handle it perfectly with waved yellows and a safety car at most, but others have systematically recourse to a red flag. I also blame some circuits where the recovery teams seem less well equiped/trained than others. Watch Monaco, they are experts!!!
Given the Jules was running at near top speed trying to catch up behind the safety car, it was, in effect, his own fault. Why penalize all future history because of one stupid overly aggressive "play".
Don’t want to be a polemicist but this means a lot about Vettel level right now.. Nevertheless Stroll is not a bad driver. You need to have some skills to drive in Q3 a midfield car.

Glad to see at least 1 driver made in the points at Baku2022 and is also beating Stroll in the points. Didn't Vettel miss 2 races at the beginning of the year??? Still a long season though.....can Stroll beat his team-mate???
True, but he is certainly not the only one. Some good drivers, even WDCs, have confessed in the past hating street circuits.
Street circuits have track limits though to a certain degree no??? So it would take a higher degree of skill to maneuver through a street circuit.....and in the rain it's even higher.
Very true, but for some they certainly feel claustrophobic compared to the open space at Silverstone (or Donington) , Paul Ricard or even Monza. But I agree that street circuits are the ultimate judge for track limits offenders !!

Whilst he's grown a lot in F1, I maintain his best career move would be Le Mans, especially now with the hypercars. Have an Aston hypercar, buy a bunch of F1 cars of whatever era you fancy and drive on your family's race track (or any circuit you desire), have fun racing with not as many eyes on you judging every move.
