Gate is open as there is so much construction. The city is replacing the 2 water tanks up there in addition to the 3 homes under construction. You could have walked but regularly once everything is complete, gates willl be closed.

Long time no update. Retaining walls going in. Lots of work happening. Tons of dirt and rock being displaced. Hoping to have a pad by end of May. Ambitious but then we start going vertical with framing. Got to take the Bronco up for the first time to the top: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Long time no update. Things are cranking. Lower retaining walls are up. Second set of retaining walls going in next week. At that point the lowest level will be ready foe slab. All of a sudden we realized we need to finalize windows, cabinets and appliances. So good to see all the progress. It’s quite amazing how they have literally transformed the side of the hill to be ready to revive a house. Upper right hand corner is master. In the second photo- the dirt island is the guest room. Your room is about 40 feet to the right of that. I’ll pitch a tent and get some sleeping bags.
Concrete for the footings go in tomorrow. Then they put up retaining walls, waterproof, backfill and start on the last set of retaining walls for the back of the house. At the same time they are working on upper retaining walls, they will start the foundation for the lower level slab. Probably end of June all masonry work is done and we start putting in the steel and going vertical. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok guys, Im having some second thoughts and need some advice. The first floor plan is the current plan and rendering. You can see the racing sim at the end and golf simulator. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login But on second thought, I think I should shrink the bathroom and combine it with the storage room on the right. The storage room is 7x9 - its massive for a storage room. I think I can tuck the golf sim in the corner and when you walk in you see the simulator on the far wall. I dont have a rendering of this but am thinking this might be a better layout as it gives me wall protection on either side of the simulator naturally. What say you? Overall size of the room is about 40x30 but you can see where I put the dimensions in for an approximate size. Potential Revision? Image Unavailable, Please Login
You'd be gaining space, but it would just be open empty space. Do you need more of that? The existing design seems like it has a pretty big open space already, making it even bigger might make it just feel empty and impersonal. Plus you'd be losing an area for closed off storage that would help keep the main area neat and tidy. In the lower right room it is labeled as 'Mech' are there systems that need to go in that space? You'd also lose the nice defined space for the racing sim, and it seems like it would end up in an awkward spot. That being said I would make sure I have a backup plan for any area that you want the racing sim in, as you may find yourself losing interest in that in the future. Looks like whatever you do, you're going to have an amazing view though!
If you are doing a track man golf sim just be sure you have 16 feet (20 preferred) for ball travel or it won’t work as well as it used radar to calculate things and needs more ball travel. You might consider the foresight gC quad or hawk if you have/want less room. I made this error in my first golf sim room. The quad is just as accurate
