Quoting History not politics. Whether it was against the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Prussians, the Austro-Hungarians, German Empire, or Swedish Empire, and now today NATO Russia has always behaved this way. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hey all - While the statements here weren't as egregious as P&R can be, let's keep the discussion on the topic of aviation, not politics (past or present).
I'll volunteer for that ! What Ukraine needs is "Iron Beam". Zap those incoming missiles. ZAP ! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Latest report (unconfirmed) is that the Neptune got a frigate recently. A 2017 launch so brand new by naval standards.
Ukraine is counting 11 boats total so far. Not sure of their names. +1 short of 200 aircraft. > 25,000 Russian troops killed. That sounds like a LOT of aircraft, but for sure the Russians are unable to coordinate in the eastern offensive. It's been 3 weeks now with virtually no gains. Also, Russia unable to interdict western weapon supplies. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Overclaiming victories is normal during wartime and has been documented in all wars involving aerial combat.
The pentagon is saying that Russia is flying a bit under 300 sorties per day. I'm shocked its that high, but perhaps I'm not understanding what counts as a sortie. Anyone have any insights into that number? Is it counting helicopters moving supplies around too or something?
Zelensyky's advisor has said that strikes on the Raptor class boats were being confused with a hit on the Makarov, which supposedly happened around the same time. This itself could be a misdirection, as there are reports of US intelligence, and a US drone being involved. US admin is denying providing intelligence to Ukraine. Ukraine is denying strikes inside Russia. Other reports have Russian troops retreating in the northeast, and blowing up bridges to slow the Ukrainian advance.
A sortie is one take-off and landing. With the size of the Russian AF, 300 sorties a day is not surprising and modern Western aircraft can fly 3-4 sorties per day.
