Jaleo in Cosmo. Le Thai downtown. In my opinion there is not one decent dining spot at any level at Mandalay.

Yardhouse is a national beer chain. A lot of people like Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. They do not take reservations for outside seating. Sign up in person and be prepared to wait. Bavette's in Park MGM is very nice. It's a pricey steak joint based in Chicago but let me recommend you order the prime rib French dip sandwich. It's $ 32 with fries but one of the best sandwiches you'll eat. Try the Lillet rose martini ($18). Take along a flashlight

    Nearby ~$$$ options:
I like to lunch at the Wynn Terrace Cafe, especially patio. ~20 per entree. Self park is easy to then walk in and a little through the lobby.

Shish Kabob House on Flamingo has amazing combo plate with lamb chops.
Farm Table at Town Square is solid
There's a Pho Kim Long there too now, always a favorite
    Eataly at Park

If you like Italian (ha) try Mezzo Bistro, on Rancho.

When we had it, Siegfred and Roy used to come in almost weekly. One of their homes was just down the street from it. We still eat there frequently!
