You can go left, right or around the points, but the full factory exhaust is
    • essential to an original F50 (nothing wrong with buyers who don’t want to pay up for original cars or if you have buyers for high-miles ones with Tubi exhaust at discount prices but these are irrelevant to the issue of the factory exhaust system being key to the originality of an F50),
    • very difficult to find, and
    • very expensive.
Re exhaust, you seem to be set in thinking that Tubi is it for driving enjoyment and original exhaust for storage cars, so no need for any further discussion. Let me just say that I love the mechanical engine sounds of an original exhaust which is totally covered by the louder sounds of sports exhausts. Again, each system has their magic and their drawbacks.

    Thank you Marcel, even better!

Thank you for posting this, nice.

Karim, nowhere have I said that the OEM exhaust isn't key to the originality or an F50, isn't difficult to find, or isn't expensive (in fact I have proven the very expensive cost on one a few posts ago), but the fact remains that not everyone worships at the altar of pristine low-miles originality in the current world we live in, that's a valid point.

Yes I do appreciate that the quieter muted OEM system let's you hear the suspension, chassis and engine sounds of the F50 better, I've experienced this myself, however the current dilemma of so many F50s being without their OEM exhausts today clearly happened for a reason.

I'm not set in my belief that sports exhausts are only for driving enjoyment and OEM units are for storage/concours/resale cars, I am simply reporting my experienced observation that cars that are driven and used usually are the ones with sports exhausts on. That's my experience.

You are absolutely right, we are in danger of flogging this OEM exhaust (prancing) horse to death so let's move on!

Thanks for clarifying, I follow them so I've seen the ones on Ferraris Online's IG and Colleen's inspection stories as I follow them, I just didn't see any permanent posts on Colleen's IG, anyway this is a very cool F50 considering it's history.
