Does anyone have this book in his collection: "La Leggenda Ferrari Nelle Pagine de La Gazetta dello Sport"? Is it worth buying?
It's not a must have. But for 20 EUR each.... There are two different books Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-G973F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Period reads and in this case reprints are precious reading, they can help immensely in documenting a car by way of articles written DURING it's lifespan not decades later. I have used this as one of my sources for my articles for decades. It gives an undistorted perspective from which to work.

New 2021 Yearbook of the Ferrari Club Austria, exceptional quality and content, notably a perfect report about 50 years of Fiorano with lots of interesting history and details. Really well done, highly recommended. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
This book remains a total mystery. There is absolutely no information available at the Web, none of the main book dealers ever heard of it, there hasn't been any copy offered at the common online plattforms, and even Blurb doesn't have it although it appears to have been produced there. I think, they just produced three copies: one copy for each of the two authors respectively and one for @Marcel Massini, who can feel very honoured
I do not have a copy and have not seen the book. I am actually seeking one (a copy). Seems two Frenchmen made this BB book and they must have presented it during Retromobile in Paris (I wasn't there). I do not know more than that. If anybody finds the book and more information where to get it please inform the fchatters. Tx. Marcel Massini
I wanted to order a copy, but they asked 114 euros shipping costs from Switzerland to Germany, which is totally insane ...
I noticed this ad in the May 14, 2022 issue of Ferrari Market Letter. Anybody know anything about it? Image Unavailable, Please Login
If David Williams is involved, at a minimum, it should look nice. I rate his recent work with FCA's Prancing Horse magazine highly.
Just arrived. 590 pages with lots of high res period pictures of 60 years of the Trieste-Opicina. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This was published in 2003. I did help Angelo Tito Anselmi with the chassis numbers. My book is copy #0002. Marcel Massini
They are! I didn’t know there was such a detailed book about the Trieste-Opicina. I saw it online and bought it immediately.
It's 20 years young and still much better than many other recent books in every way. Good job Marcel ;-)
Hello, I've got this one. They printed 365 copies of it and it was never due to be put on sale. The author owns a 365 BB and the car was showcased this year at Retromobile for the 50th (+1 ... as Retromobile was cancelled last year) birthday of the model. As far as I understood the book was only given there for friends and guest. But if you search for the author (Edouard Bernard) on Facebook and kindly ask him, I'm sure he will be happy to sell you some remaining copies.
Hello Yan-Alexandre, merci beaucoup for the precious information! Now, I know a little bit more. Interesting to know the background. Unfortunately, there are more than 100 Edouard Bernards at Facebook! But I am sure, one day, a copy will appear at the well-known channels. I will keep an eye on it
Surely Mr. Bernard can be located and contacted somehow? NOT via FB I mean. Any leads? Marcel Massini
