Nice, but what’s up with the “curb rash” on the inside of the Ferrari wheel? Are the tire guys that careless with the wheels or is this a surreptitious attempt at reducing unsprung weight? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is this unique to the Ferrari? Very interesting. Is it to tame the turbulence or to eek out some downforce that doesn't have to be transmitted through the suspension?
F1 cars have been using those feathered vanes on the rear for over 5 years now. They are for the turbulent air coming off the floor and rear wheels.
If Red Bull intends an action, and this is proven, Aston will end up with serious sanctions, I guess. Hard to believe that several team principals at Aston went the same route.
Yep. Just find it funny how F1 has been droning on about ''simplification'' and we still have highly complicated bits...even the "disappeared" bargeboards are now simply blended onto the side of the chassis, lol.
True......but these cars are nothing compared to the 2017 and 2018 cars.....aero-orgasm for those aero engineers.
